Our House
_
Station 7 is a single Engine house located on Lewis Turner Blvd. across from the Golf Course and next to the County fair grounds. The station was built in 1974 and was/ is known as the “North End”. Back in the 70's this was the north-side of town and considered pretty rural area. The city recognized the advancement of the population and strategically placed a firehouse at this location. It was a quiet Firehouse...that was then.
These days Engine 7 is a busy Engine Company with first due response area that includes the fair grounds, court house complex(next door), the Golf Course, County Utility building, among other high target areas and residential neighborhoods. Mutual aid agreements have 7 serving Ocean City Fire District as well as the City of Mary Esther.
Station 7 is our “training grounds” equipped with a 3 story training tower (behind the station). The tower continues to be utilized by surrounding departments for training and pumper truck testing and is an invaluable asset to the firefighting community locally. FWB Firefighters proudly continue the tradition of excellence out of this station. If our doors are open YOU are welcome to stop and check out our home!
